(11th Cir. 1981) (en banc) - The first case heard by the new Eleventh
Circuit which established the precedent to be utilized by the new
Court.
-International Paint Co. v. M/V MISSION VIKING, 637 F.2D 382
(5th Cir. 1981) - Priority of maritime liens and mortgages.
-Nicaud v. State Ex. rel. Hendrix, 401 So.2d 43 (Ala. 1981) -
Damages for State's detention of commercial fishing vessel.
-Flowers Baking Co. v. City of Melbourne, 537 So.2d 1040 (Fla.
5th DCA 1989) - Evidentiary standard and burden of proof for
conditional use permits under zoning and land use codes.
-Nationwide Mutual Ins. Co. v. Clay, 495 So.2d 584 (Ala. 1986)
and 525 So.2d 1339 (Ala. 1987) (on remand from the U.S. Supreme Court)
- Bad faith for failure to pay first party insurance benefits, with
punitive damages award upheld

duties and liabilities, with poetry.
-International Towing & Salvage, Inc. v. F/V LINDSEY JEANETTE,
et al., 1999 AMC 2465 (U.S.D.C. M.D. Fla. 1998) - Salvage reward
exceeding value of vessel saved under Article 14 of International
Convention on Salvage, 1989, where efforts taken by salvor to lessen
or mitigate environmental problems; deficiency judgment against
vessel owner, operator and insurer.
